Thanks to its optimum ergonomic fit, the newly designed Y-harness offers comfort and freedom of movement for almost any dog shape and for any activity - a very important point for your dog's well-being and maximum performance!

The smooth softshell padding (also under the high-quality Duraloc buckles) dries quickly, prevents rubbing and ensures a high level of comfort even for short-haired dog breeds and when worn for long durations. The robust harness material not only impresses with its high breaking strength, but also with its high color strength and a discreet shine.
Whether you opt for the neon orange harness for maximum visibility or a classic 'all-black look': the reflective edging ensures greater visibility in traffic and thus increases safety on walks in the dark or at dusk.
The harness is robust and easy to clean, the stainless steel fittings with high breaking load ensure durability and safety even for very large and strong dogs - yet our harness remains lightweight and is suitable in XXS for Chihuahuas as well as in size XL for Great Danes or German Shepherds.

What dog accessories increase safety on walks?

Reflector patches increase visibility at dusk and in the dark by reflecting light from car headlights or bike lamps – with no battery required. They can be attached to a harness, leash, or dog coat with Velcro. Especially useful for dark-coated dogs, in rural areas without street lighting, or for active/older dogs. A securely fitted collar or harness is also important so your dog can be reliably guided. In addition, the ClicLock buckle (200 kg breaking load, UV- and seawater-resistant) can provide secure hold for the collar.

What dog accessories are practical for being out and about?

Dog accessories that are lightweight to carry, sturdy, and quick to use are suitable for being out and about. These include, for example, compostable poop bags, reflector patches for better visibility, a foldable and water-repellent dog mat for breaks, and accessories for collars and leashes. A secure dog crate can also be important for transport by car.

What should I look for in a dog harness?

Check: Is it padded and made of high-quality material? Does it fit your dog and allow enough freedom of movement? Is it adjustable? Does it suit your activities together? Does it meet your needs (e.g. extra safety, reflective elements)?

For the fit: no straps or rings pressing on the breastbone or throat, sufficient clearance between the chest straps and the elbows, and you should be able to slide your hand easily under the straps everywhere.

We generally advise against saddle-style harnesses, as incorrect load distribution can cause lasting harm to the dog.

When is a dog harness useful?

Especially for puppies, young or anxious dogs, joint activities such as jogging or hiking, and certain dog sports.

Benefits: more even pressure distribution across the body instead of concentrated on the neck, plus better control and a lower risk of slipping out when properly fitted.
