To choose the right prong collar, you should know your dog's weight in addition to their neck size.

The weight helps you find the right wire gauge. If your collar doesn't fit optimally in terms of length, you can adjust it by removing or adding individual links. Just make sure the number of links on both sides of the center plate stays roughly even.

Depending on which type of dog sport you and your dog enjoy, a different leash is needed.

While dog sports like agility or obedience call for a special agility leash with quick-release, or a short 1m leash that can easily be tucked into your pocket; a 5, 10, or 15-meter tracking leash is better suited to sports like mantrailing, in the hunting dog field for tracking wounded game, or for scent work.
