For catching or retrieving games, bite tugs with a hand strap or rope are best suited. It's important that the toy isn't chosen too small, so it can be picked up easily and isn't swallowed.

For puppies, small, lightweight toys such as a cotton bite tug in size XS are suitable – ideal for safe pickup and early retrieving. It's important that the size and material match the puppy's current body build and don't strain the teeth. Never let your puppy play unsupervised.
